More before-bed doodles. Locks (which belong to Crispyfishsticks) just kind of exploded all over them.
First one is Ary and Jihrin, just chillin’ in quad form. Second, third, and fourth are me playing around with sphinxed Ary. Something about the way the Locks are put together makes me think they’d have a really skinny waist-thing when quadded/sphinxed.
Fifth is Jeih posing for the camera. “Look how pretty I am!”
Felt like Lock-snuggles for the last one. (Well, more of a headbump, but eh to schematics). The golden dragon-thing is one of the ways I like to personify myself on the internet—usually it’s a little lankier, but today it ended up taking up more space. No idea why. I blame the fact that it’s after midnight.
I have a great fondness for Locks. The obvious is that they’re lovely creatures with interesting personalities, but the thing that really gets me is how much Crispy obviously connects with and loves her creations. The Locks appeal to me not just because they’re pretty, or fun to draw, but because their artist imbues them with such worth. They are worthy of the admiration we give them, because they and their universe are so whole. Crispy’s put so much thought into their world and the way they interact with it, and I admire her dedication and attention to detail in her work.
Does this make any sense? It’s late and I’m rambling. I think I shall go to bed.
